Colin Campbell
CCC Consulting Group’s Managing Director, Colin Campbell was brought up and educated in Glasgow, Scotland, before leaving to begin a career in the British plant and tool hire industry in Leeds at the age of 20.
Colin began his career with HSS Hire plc and built up the HSS Hire Shop chain in Yorkshire, the Isle of Man and Holland in the 1980’s by organic growth and acquisitions of local hire companies. In 1992, Colin became the youngest Director of HSS at the age of 29. In 1992, Colin was appointed Operations Director of PB Hire and managed a chain of 60 national plant hire Depots serving the Construction Industry during the severe recession of the early 1990’s.
In 1994, Colin opened his first tool and plant hire Depot under his Hirestores brand on Elland Road, Leeds. He built the business up to 4 West Yorkshire Depots and a leading position in the market before selling the business in 2002. Since 1994 Colin also operated as Colin Campbell Consulting offering advice and taking on projects for Clients, hence the CCC brand.
After selling Hirestores, Colin acted as a Director and Consultant to Lloyds British plc, H E Services Group Ltd, Diggerland Ltd and the GAP Group Ltd.
Stan Moore
CCC Consulting Group Director, Stan Moore was brought up and educated in Grangemouth, Scotland, before beginning a career in the British plant and tool hire industry at the age of 16 with PB Hire Ltd. Stan built up the PB Hire chain in Scotland and progressed through the ranks to Regional Manager. In 1996 Stan then joined Speedy Hire plc and worked closely with his colleagues to rapidly expand the Speedy brand name from unknown company to a market leader of tool and access hire across Scotland via a network of 15 branches. In 2003 Stan joined the GAP Group as Scottish Regional Director managing 14 Plant and Tool Hire Depots.
In 2004, Stan was approached by the VP plc Group Company and joined Hire Station, to become Regional Director covering 40 Tool Hire Depots in Northern England and Scotland until joining HSS Hire plc in 2007 as Sales Director. At HSS, Stan was responsible for an annual turnover of 17 million across Scotland & the North East and remains today probably one of the best known people in the Scottish Construction and Plant Hire Industry.
After turning 40 Stan finally decided to work for himself and in 2011 joined the CCC Consulting Group Ltd as Colin's Partner. Stan is responsible for developing our customer base across Scotland and the North East of England, various National accounts & key CCC Group Clients.
Lynsey Campbell LLB (Hons) Executive Assistant
Colin and Stan are supported by their Executive Assistant, Lynsey Campbell who advises the Board on all commercial and legal matters.
